It's clear that Peppa didn't inherit her quick-thinking from her dad, Richard. Richard is kind of goofy (OK, really goofy), but he's always in a good mood. When it comes to discipline, he's clueless, and leaves the hardcore parenting stuff to Peppa's mom, Rachel (who he affectionately calls Sugar Booger). Richard collects wooden ducks as a hobby, but he's almost as fascinated by Peppa's neato toys as Peppa is. Strangely, he was president of the Brain Teaser Club in high school.
Richard has dark brown facial hair, dark pink lips, and pink cheeks. He wears a green shirt, and black glasses. He is the first pig in the family to wear glasses, the second pig being Aunt Dot. He wears black shoes.
